Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs payments, cancellations, and refund eligibility for services purchased through Dusty Compass ("we," "us," or "our") via our website dustycompass.in or directly through bank invoices.
1. Monthly Consultancy Plans
Our monthly consulting services (Starter, Growth, and Scale plans) operate on a month-to-month billing schedule. To cancel your service:
- You may cancel your monthly plan at any time. Notice must be sent via WhatsApp or email to dustycompasshq@gmail.com.
- To prevent auto-renewal of your plan, notice of cancellation must be submitted at least 7 days prior to your next billing date.
- Once a billing cycle commences and payment is processed, we do not offer refunds or prorated credits for that active month. This is because consulting hours, calendar slots, and property shoots are allocated and scheduled immediately upon billing.
2. One-Time Services & Action Trials
For one-time projects and short-term trials:
- 1-Week Action Trial: If you cancel your trial purchase within 24 hours of payment and before any audit work or content scripting has started, you are eligible for a 100% refund. Once work has begun, no refunds will be issued.
- Website Redesign Projects: If you cancel a website rebuild contract before our design discovery or development phase begins (within 24 hours of the initial deposit), you are eligible for a full refund of the deposit. Once wireframes are created or development has commenced, the initial deposit is non-refundable.
3. Cal.com Bookings & Consultations
Kickoff calls, strategy sessions, and onboarding calls booked through Cal.com can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 12 hours in advance of the scheduled meeting slot. If you fail to show up to a scheduled call without notice, rescheduling is subject to Mohit's availability.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund on eligible purchases (as outlined in Section 2), please email dustycompasshq@gmail.com with your payment receipt, hotel details, and the reason for your request. Approved refunds will be processed via Razorpay back to your original payment method (card, UPI, or net banking) within 5-7 business days.
5. Scope Modifications
If you wish to scale down or upgrade your active monthly plan, modifications will apply to the next billing cycle. Please coordinate plan changes directly with Mohit Swami via WhatsApp.
